America Place’s campuses are near several public and private K-12 institutions with fantastic reputations for workforce development. Jeffersonville High School, the largest high school in the Greater Clark County Schools system at over 2,000 enrolled students, is just minutes away.
Greater Clark County Schools also works with Prosser Career Education Center, a career readiness institution with a variety of programs. Private Catholic education is available through the Providence High School system located in nearby Clarksville. Private Christian education is offered through Christian Academy of Indiana in nearby New Albany.

Indiana University Southeast (IUS), a regional campus of Indiana University, is a four-year public university located in New Albany, Indiana. The 179-acre campus is located minutes from AP Business Park and America Place at River Ridge, and just six miles from downtown Louisville. Founded in 1941, IUS offers a variety of educational and degree programs to prepare students of all ages to contribute to the growth and development of our region.
Purdue Polytechnic New Albany offers technology courses and nine different Bachelor of Science degree programs: Animation, Computer Graphics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Organizational Leadership and Supervision, Supply Chain Management Technology, and Web Programming and Design. Courses are taught at the Purdue Technology Center of Southeast Indiana, a state-of-the-art facility that also serves as Purdue Research Park facility.
Kentucky residents of Jefferson, Oldham, Meade, Bullitt, Shelby, or Trimble counties, also pay Indiana in-state tuition rates at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute's New Albany location.
Ivy Tech Community College – Sellersburg Campus is part of the state's largest public postsecondary institution and the nation's largest singly accredited statewide community college system. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana. It serves as the state's engine of workforce development, offering affordable degree programs and training that are aligned with the needs of its community along with courses and programs that transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana. Ivy Tech’s Corporate College program also offers customized training, assessment and professional development opportunities to companies choosing to locate in the region.
